Her entire world for 14 years.
This is what Hollywood actress Kaley Cuoco recently penned in her Instagram account as an emotional tribute for her late canine companion named Norman. With his passing, the 35-year-old Big Bang Theory star described that it was an earth-shattering, deep, gut-wrenching pain that she did not know possible.
Narrating his last days on earth, Cuoco shared that Norman smiled at her before her dog quietly passed. She said that this confirmed they had a special language between them and that her heart will always belong to him. She wrote the caption together with two black and white photos of her with her beloved pit bull mix.
Cuoco also shared a slideshow of her and Norman in her Instagram stories, showing her followers the strong bond they have had over the years. As an interesting tidbit, Cuoco named her production company, Norman Productions, after the late canine. And why shouldn’t she? After all, she opened up a few years ago about her beloved pet and shared how she knew right away that Norman was the perfect dog for her.
In an interview with The Los Angeles Times in 2017, the actress spoke up about how she wanted him to be in his life. She adopted him at the age of two, and he had a broken leg. The following year, she wrote a loving tribute where she called him her main man and claimed Norman to be the love of her life forever. She added how he had saved her in more ways than she can explain.
Before Norman’s passing, Cuoco and her husband Karl Cook just recently mourned their other family pet’s death. Her 30-year-old husband wrote a heartfelt post dedicated to the late dog named Petunia, whom they got as a senior dog. He said that she is finally at rest after a life of untold loneliness and hardship. And even though she passed on, Cook said that he is happy she is finally at rest.
He explained that they did everything they could to make sure that they can give her the best of everything when they adopted her. Cook also said that Petunia is resting at peace, with the daily sunset to keep her warm, and for them, that’s what matters the most. He concluded his tribute by saying that even though they didn’t have the longest time together, she affected his soul and that of everyone else’s who met her.
Cuoco penned her own emotional tribute for Petunia in her Instagram stories during that time. She took that opportunity to acknowledge Paws For Life K9 Rescue, the nonprofit organization that was instrumental in bringing Petunia into their lives. She said that they were honored to love the senior dog in her final days and said Petunia was the reason they continue to save canines like her—and that they will never stop.
Run free in doggy paradise, Norman and Petunia!
