Zazu, a senior Golden Labrador Retriever, was acting like a puppy again after returning from a vacation. This goes to show that taking a break is a must for everyone, even for our four-legged friends.
Zazu loves spending time at the dog park, but he’s not the type to socialize. That’s more Walle, his German Short Haired Pointer brother’s, style.
Walle is always up for a game of fetch or a good romp with the other dogs. Zazu prefers to take things at his own pace, preferring to lay in the sun and people watch.
Zazu’s guardians say that he always comes back from his vacations relaxed and rejuvenated. This time was no different.
Upon returning from a long-awaited vacation, Zazu behaved in a more active and friendly manner. His guardians say that he was playing and running around like a puppy again.
Walle must have been surprised at this behavior change, but we’re loving how Zazu let his inner puppy come out and play.
It’s important that we remember to let our cares take care of themselves, and this dog did just that, bless his heart.
Zazu even play-wrestled with a dog he met at the dog park that day. His guardians say that he was always a good dog, but this playful side was a new development.
Relaxation clearly does the body and mind good! We’re so glad to see Zazu taking advantage of this and we hope he continues to enjoy his relaxed state. Thanks for the reminder, Zazu!
It’s a powerful eye-opener to see this practice being done by a dog. Whether it’s spending time at the dog park or taking a vacation, it’s important to take some time to rest and relax.
You’ll be surprised at what some time off can actually do, so take advantage of the holidays to do so!
