Many dogs out there are really full of energy. They enjoy running about, playing outside, and exploring new things.
However, some dogs are total couch potatoes that refuse to participate in these energy-sucking activities. Ruben, a 5-year-old terrier, is one such example.
Ruben is the dog owned by a man named David Harsanyi, and this pet is pretty serious about napping. Ruben, according to David, enjoys barking at strangers. But he loves sleeping more than anything else. He even turned it into a pastime.
While Ruben’s hobby may appear mundane, wait until you learn where he likes to sleep. The dog has a bad habit of sleeping in a position that appears as though he perished in a terrible accident. He rests at the bottom of the stairwell, looking as though he’d had a bad fall. You might have suffered a heart attack if you don’t know him.
It’s fortunate that David works from home. Because the two of them really spend so much time just being together, Ruben’s fur dad has grown accustomed to the dog’s sleeping habits. Otherwise, this furry pet may cause his father to experience quite a scare.
Ruben prefers to sleep on David’s feet. But the fur dad would frequently interrupt Ruben’s nap time whenever he got up and moved around. When this happens, Ruben would also decide to get up and wander about.
The dog frequently camped out at the bottom of the stairs to keep an eye on his father whenever he went upstairs. He would also frequently fall asleep there. As a result, when David returns downstairs, he is greeted by his fur baby in what appears to be a frightening scene.
While Ruben prefers to sleep at the bottom of the stairs, he occasionally sleeps in his large, luxurious, pink doggy bed. It would have been preferable if Ruben simply slept there to avoid the stairs looking like a crime scene, but this is probably his way of giving his father a good laugh.
