While the internet is packed with adorable photos of dogs from across the globe, this dog owner decided to spice things up. Jay Cartner, an artist for 25 years now, is the owner of a pack of active, silly greyhounds. He loves watching them chase each other around the yard and just being goofy in general.
But among his considerably big pack of greyhounds, Stanley obviously stands out. Jay and his family first brought Stanley home from the shelter about six years ago. Even then, they knew that the pup was a bouncy and silly one.
Instead of running, he would prance around the yard. Whenever someone pets him, he would cry even if you use two of your hands. It was as if he wanted you to pet him with both hands and feet! He sure is one pooch who couldn’t get enough of pets.
When the family welcomed him home, Stanley instantly got along with his other rescued siblings. He would often join them on a marathon across the yard or stay inside the house and relax with Jay. Either way, the pooch’s silliness can be seen in anything he does, from walking in the house to playing with Jay.
Jay would often draw inspiration from his adorable dog pack. Just recently, he was stressed at work, so he decided to draw sketches of his dogs, specifically of Stanley. He took out a few funny photos he took of the dog and started sketching them up.
The results were pretty hilarious that he decided to upload the drawings to a Facebook group. As it turns out, Stanley was a total hit even on the internet! His post gained more than 29,000 reactions, 7,000 shares, and 2,600 comments in just a matter of days! Just look at these hilarious and adorable drawings of Stanley here.
