Blossom, the turkey, was only 5 weeks old when she was rescued. Her mom took her home so she could take care of her. But Blossom was confused and terrified. She didn’t know where she was or what was going on. And she also felt lonely and alone.
To try and make her happy, Blossom’s mom introduced her to Minnow, the dog. She was unsure of him at first, too. But one thing she didn’t hesitate was to try and sit on Minnow’s bed. And that’s how their friendship started.
Minnow shared everything with Blossom. Most of the time, they cuddle. But there are also times that they argue. Either way, Minnow, and Blossom can’t stand to be apart.
After a while, Blossom grew bigger. She also gained confidence. Thinking that she’s ready to move out, their mom took her into a farm. After all, she’s a turkey, and turkeys are supposed to be friends with another turkey. But it only made Blossom feel alone and sad.
Blossom just stood in one spot, looking around and watching the other animals on the farm. Realizing how the turkey misses her dog best friend, their mom decided to bring her back home. Once together, Blossom perked up, and Minnow was equally delighted to have his friend again.
Now, Minnow and Blossom have every day to do things that they like. They watch TV together, and they share their food with another, especially pumpkin pie. But most importantly, they are content just to be together.
Minnow and Blossom have a lot of similarities. They both love to go for a swim, walk around their backyard, and eat grass. At times, they also go on a hike with their mom.
Minnow and Blossom are absolutely different from each other. One is furry, while the other is feathery. But no matter the differences, they love one another, and there’s nothing more they would ask for.
