Most rescue dogs living in animal shelters don’t trust humans. These dogs are often depressed and have multiple medical issues, which means that it’s difficult to find someone willing to adopt them. Thankfully, there are still lots of people out there who give them a second chance in life.
A rescue dog named Clementine was living in an animal shelter. She’s timid, depressed, and had several medical issues. Since no one wanted to adopt Clementine, she was placed on the euthanasia list. Clementine’s distrust towards humans just made it even more difficult for her to find a home.
Thankfully, a woman named Chelsea Elizabeth Cossairt learned about Clementine. She felt sorry for Clementine and was also willing to give Clementine another chance at happiness. Chelsea also knew that Clementine still had a lot of love to give and decided to adopt Clementine.
Chelsea’s adoption application was approved and Clementine finally went to her new forever home. However, when Clementine was terrified of everything. She didn’t even look at anyone and always hid behind furniture or faced the wall to avoid eye contact. This went on for months and Clementine looked defeated. It was heartbreaking seeing her being so depressed and afraid.
However, although Clementine didn’t trust humans, she didn’t have any problems trusting other dogs. Clementine was comfortable around Chelsea’s other dogs named Moose and Maple. Whenever Clementine felt depressed or afraid, she would always seek comfort by being near Moose or Maple.
Thanks to Moose and Maple, Clementine learned that not all humans are bad and started warming up to Chelsea. Clementine is still a little cautious around people she doesn’t know but she’s come a long way from what she was before. After months of getting love and care from Chelsea, Clementine finally transformed into a happy and playful dog.
Chelsea knew that Clementine wanted to trust humans again. Thanks to Chelsea, Clementine was given a second chance at life. For a dog that no one wanted to adopt, Clementine is now living a happy life with her new family.
