Opposites attract, and that stands true with Yoda and Lily. They are best friends who have nothing in common. But they absolutely love one another.
Lily was rescued when she was just a few months old. The first time Yoda met her, the little dog was confused. He didn’t know what she was. ‘Could she be a big dog or a small horse?’
Slowly, Yoda realized what Lilly was. He discovered that she was cute and fun to be with. And so, Yoda decided to take care of Lily.
Yoda started tucking Lily in for the night. He gives her some kisses before he goes to bed. And she stays by her side when the donkey feels scared.
Outside, Yoda will always hop onto Lily’s back. He could never get enough of her. Luckily, Lily is an easy-going friend. She just lets Yoda ride her and doesn’t mind him at all.
Yoda loves Lily so much that the little dog once refused to share her. When their mom adopted another donkey, Lily got curious. She approached him and ended up liking him.
Lily spent hours playing with her new friend. But Yoda didn’t like the idea of Lily spending more time with another animal. He made it clear to everyone that she belongs to him. He’d bark whenever she’s with the newcomer.
But after a while, Yoda realized it’s ok for Lily to have another friend. After all, they live on the same farm and belong to one family.
Yoda and Lily share a special bond. Even their mom doesn’t know how their special friendship actually began. Probably, Yoda just loves being friends with someone different, and Lily enjoys having someone to chase.
Regardless of the reason, Yoda and Lily prove that friendship does not choose color, skin, or size. Despite their differences, they share the same love for another. And that’s how friendship should be.
