A dog named Diamond was in his owner’s home in Iceland. Gunnar was busy doing work on the computer when he saw something strange about Diamond. It seemed like the dog wanted Gunnar to follow him somewhere.
Gunnar tried to ignore him, but the dog was persistent. He sensed then that Diamond wanted to do an important thing, so he finally decided to follow him. Then they saw a bird lying on the ground. They thought it was dead. And when Gunnar decided to leave the bird, it winked. He brought it inside their home and gave the bird some food and water.
The bird had finally recovered after an hour, so Gunnar decided to free it. But the bird flew and landed on Diamond’s head. The dog kissed the bird, but it remained calm and steady. When Gunnar left the bird outside, Bibi did not fly away. He brought Bibi back inside and let the bird have some rest. When the time came that it was ready to leave, Gunnar left the bird outside again. This time, Bibi flew and did not come back.
The bird was ready to leave, and Diamond knew that Bibi left. Gunnar asked him where Bibi was, he went by the window and stared at the place where he found Bibi. The dog was very much aware of who Bibi was. He was indeed spectacular!
It was a touching story about how a dog could help save a life. Diamond knew that Bibi was in danger. He did everything to let Gunnar know about the bird and save it. If Diamond didn’t help the bird, it might have been dead already. The bird was very thankful. Bibi didn’t leave until it said thank you to him. Animals couldn’t speak, but their actions expressed a lot. They could show love, compassion, and gratitude without any hesitation.
